School of Modern Languages Salary: £34,304 - £40,927 per annum Start Date: 15 August 2022, or as soon as possible thereafter Fixed term: until 19 May 2023

The School of Modern Languages seeks suitably qualified applicants with previous teaching experience, full professional competency in Spanish and English, and expertise in the delivery of classes in Spanish language, literature and culture for the position of Associate Lecturer (Education Focused). The post will involve language teaching in Spanish and teaching of Spanish-language literature and culture (covering peninsular Spain and/or Latin America) at all levels as agreed with the Head of Department.  

 

This post is offered as a full-time position, working 36.25 hours per week on a fixed term contract to 19 May 2023.   

 

Applicants must hold a PhD in Spanish, or have completed one by 1 August 2022. Applicants should have teaching experience in a UK or Anglophone higher education institution.
