School of Divinity Salary: £37,099- £44,263 per annum Start Date: 1 August 2024 Fixed Term: 3 years

We wish to appoint a fixed-term Associate Lecturer (Education Focused) in Hebrew Bible/Old Testament within the School of Divinity. The position will be held from 1 August 2024 to 31 May 2027. You will be a scholar with a growing international reputation in Hebrew Bible/Old Testament, and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching.   

 

The successful candidate will be expected to have a range of interests, to be active in research that strengthens or complements that of the School, and to be capable of teaching the subject to students from a wide range of backgrounds.    

 

Candidates should hold a PhD in a cognate discipline. Excellent teaching skills and an interest in promoting knowledge exchange are essential.
