Applications are sought for a Research Assistant to work with Dr Samantha Pitt (School of Medicine) & Prof Malcolm White (School of Biology) conducting research for a BBSRC funded project focussing on the ancestry and diversity of CRISPR immunity. The primary duties will be to carry out laboratory-based research.
The ideal applicant will have expertise in protein purification and some knowledge of electrophysiological approaches.
The post is available for up to 18 months starting 01 June 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter. This post can also be taken on a part-time basis and the end date extended accordingly.
