The School of Medicine is looking to appoint a Research Fellow in Medical Statistics who will undertake research using routinely collected data provided by one of the Scottish Safe Havens.  The main project has a focus on long term management of people living with multimorbidity, and the Fellow will contribute to other projects around multimorbidity and maternal and child health. The post holder will be responsible for planning and conducting statistical research activities for the project to meet deadlines and deliverables. These will include developing statistical analysis plans, managing the data provided and performing the statistical analysis in collaboration with the PI and wider project team.

The successful applicant will be hosted within the Division of Population and Behavioural Sciences, School of Medicine, University St Andrews.

The successful candidate will have specialist skills in the area of statistical analysis including various modelling methodologies and programming languages suitable for statistical analysis, such as R, Stata or similar.

This is a fixed term post until 30 April 2025, starting as soon as possible.
