Apprentice Early Years Practitioner. SVQ Level 3 in Social Services (Children and Young People)
Are you passionate about working with young children and eager to kick-start your career in childcare? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Early Years Apprentice to join our dedicated team at the University of St Andrews Nursery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting Child Development: Assist in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
2. Daily Care: Provide basic care needs, including feeding, changing, and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
3. Learning and Development: Collaborate with experienced educators to implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
4. Parental Communication: Maintain positive and open communication with parents, keeping them informed about their child's daily activities and progress with the support of the staff team.
5. Health and Safety: Follow established health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of children at all times.
