The University of St Andrews is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Web Content Editor to join the Digital Communications team. Reporting to the Digital Communications team leader, the post is key to ensuring the University website is standardised, simplified and consolidated to increase efficiency and improve user experience.
You will have the knowledge and skills to develop information architectures and content management strategies to ensure University information is effectively communicated to all audiences. An understanding of accessibility requirements and search engine optimisation is essential.
You will also have the interpersonal skills to provide advice, support and, where appropriate, training, to internal customers on communicating and managing information via the web.
It is also essential that you have excellent customer focus, initiative and good planning, organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience of working within a Higher Education environment would be an advantage.
