The School of Classics is looking to appoint an Associate Lecturer (Education Focused) in Greek and Classical Studies.    

The post is available from 2 August 2021 and is fixed-term for 12 months.  

We are looking for a scholar with a commitment to delivering outstanding teaching to undergraduate and taught postgraduate students from a wide range of backgrounds.    

We have a particular teaching need in Greek Literature and Philosophy.  The post-holder will require ability to train students in Greek translation and ancient Greek texts both in translation and in the original.    

Candidates should hold a PhD in a cognate discipline. Excellent teaching skills and an interest in promoting knowledge exchange are essential.
