We seek an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a Ph.D. and, ideally, experience in High Throughput Sequencing (HTS), bioinformatics and paramyxovirus research. As well as HTS and bioinformatics programming and data analysis, experience in cell culture, molecular biology and immunological techniques would be beneficial. The project will build upon our current studies which use (HTS) to investigate various aspect of the molecular biology and pathogenesis of paramyxovirus infections, including the control of virus transcription and replication, and the activation/inhibition host cell gene expression, for example those involved in innate immune responses.
