Senior Research Administrator (Research Centres) – CG2060RH

The School of Philosophical, Anthropological and Film Studies at University of St Andrews is seeking to appoint a Senior Research Administrator to join its Professional Services Team to ensure the smooth running of a Scotland-wide research alliance that is funded by the Scottish Funding Council and led by the Director of the Centre for Energy Ethics within the School of Philosophical, Anthropological and Film Studies.  

 

For this post, exceptional organisational, numerical, administrative and communication skills are essential. With a capacity to cope with change, you will be a strong and proactive team player who is able to plan, organise and prioritise your workload in a busy and fast-paced environment. Significant administration experience is essential, preferably in an education setting. In fulfilling the role, you will be expected to work closely with the Alliance team, Centre Manager and proactively liaise with staff across the School of Philosophical, Anthropological and Film Studies, with other Schools and Units as well as contacts from outwith the University. You will also have an opportunity to line manage a part-time team member.  

 

This post is a fixed term contract, until 28 February 2027.
