The University of St Andrews is looking to appoint a web developer to join the digital communications team.  Within Corporate Communications, the digital communications team is responsible for assisting Service Units and Schools with digital projects. The team works closely with software developers and system teams within IT Services, as well as colleagues within Corporate Communications.

The team is seeking an experienced Web Developer to maintain and support web services notably where changes need to be made to coding and other infrastructure elements.
 
You will be an experienced web developer with the technical knowledge and skills to develop information architectures, visual designs and user interfaces for websites and web applications that ensure University information is effectively communicated to all audiences.

You will also have the interpersonal skills to provide advice, support and, where appropriate, training to internal customers on technologies and information structures for communicating and managing information via the web.
