We wish to appoint a Lecturer in Creative Writing (Prose) within the School of English. The successful candidate will be a writer of Prose (Fiction and/or Creative Non-Fiction) with a growing international reputation as a prose writer and commitment to delivering high-quality teaching within the broad field of Creative Writing. They will be expected to have a range of interests, to publish in areas that strengthen or complement those in the School and to be capable of teaching the subject to undergraduate and postgraduate students from a wide range of backgrounds.
It is desirable though not essential that candidates should hold a PhD or MFA. Relevant publications, excellent teaching skills and an interest in promoting knowledge exchange are essential.
