Research Fellow – AR2227SB

Applications are sought for a committed Research Fellow to work with Prof Colin McCowan conducting research for a MRC/NIHR funded project entitled Multmorbid Pregnancy: Determinants, Clusters, Consequences and Trajectories (MuM-PreDiCT).  The primary duties will be to undertake research using routinely collected data provided by eDRIS around maternal and child health and support staff working on a number of other research projects.  The post holder will be responsible for managing the data provided to identify key information using robust and transparent programming methods in collaboration with the wider project team.  In addition, the development of a standardised protocol which could be implemented to manage and analyse the different datasets provided by the Safe Havens would be explored.  

 

The successful applicant will have (or be near to completion of) a PhD in epidemiology, computing, statistics or health data science with expertise in clinical data management, statistical analysis or machine learning.   

 

The post is available for 27 months starting 1st June 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter.
