Professor of Computer Science - AC5515AS

We wish to appoint a Professor within the School of Computer Science. You will be an outstanding scholar of international standing in Computer Science with a proven track record of securing significant grant funding and leading high quality externally funded research projects. The successful candidate will be expected to have a range of interests which strengthen and complement those within the School and make an outstanding contribution to the field’s advancement through research outputs.  You will be expected to prominently represent the University of St Andrews in the UK and international communities.
 
Candidates will hold a doctorate in a cognate discipline and will be expected to be capable of teaching the subject to honours and taught postgraduate students from a wide range of backgrounds.  The primary criteria for appointment will be evidence of an internationally recognised research record, a clear programme of anticipated research activity for the coming years and a significant research funding record.
