The University of St Andrews is seeking a materials chemist to join the research groups of Dr Rob Armstrong and Professor Russell Morris, as part of a project funded through the Faraday Institution (www.faraday.ac.uk) on next generation sodium-ion batteries (www.nexgenna.org). There will be excellent opportunities to engage with the wider Faraday programs for the appointed researcher.
The position is available immediately and will run until 29th September 2026 in the first instance with a possible break in March 2026 subject to funding. The possibility exists for a further 3 years’ funding to September 2029.
