Post-doctoral Research Fellow - AR2700SB

Applications are sought for a committed Post-doctoral Research Fellow to work with Alexander Stewart conducting research for a John Templeton Foundation funded project entitled Cultural Evolution and the Online Social Contract.  The primary duties will be to develop mathematical models of online social behaviour in relation to polarization, echochambers, misinformation and social influence.

 

The successful applicant will have (or be near to completion of) a PhD in Applied Mathematics or a related subject with expertise in Game Theory and/or population modelling.  

 

The post is available for 24 months starting 4 January 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter.
