Research Fellow (Galaxy Evolution) – AR2466MR
The Astronomy Group at the University of St Andrews (Scotland, UK) is seeking an ambitious postdoctoral researcher to work on galaxy evolution with Dr Vivienne Wild to start September 2021. The project will include aspects of preparation for, and analysis of data from, the forthcoming VLT/MOONS extragalactic survey.
The candidate is expected to have a PhD in astronomy with relevant experience in the field of galaxy evolution, including the analysis and interpretation of spectroscopic datasets. The position will involve collaboration with researchers across Europe and Chile in the MOONS guaranteed time team. The position includes funding for travel and priority access to a computer cluster.
