Research Fellow – AR2917HM

Applications are sought for a committed Post-doctoral Research Fellow to work with Professor Jonathan Fraser conducting research for a Leverhulme Trust funded project entitled A refined Fourier analysis.  The primary duties will be to work on research problems related to the project and under the guidance of the PI, publish research papers, and more generally contribute to the research activities of the Research Group and School.  

 

The successful applicant will have (or be near to completion of) a PhD in Mathematics with expertise in at least one of Fractal Geometry, Geometric Measure Theory, Fourier Analysis, Harmonic Analysis, Additive Combinatorics.  You will be a member of the successful Analysis Research Group (https://sta-analysis.github.io/).  

 

The post is available for 42 months starting 1st September 2024, or as soon as possible thereafter.
