Lecturer in French - AC2711RXSB

The School of Modern Languages is seeking to appoint to a one-year Lectureship in French, to commence from 1 September 2021/by the start of Semester 1 (Monday 13 September 2021). This post is to provide cover for Prof. Mary Orr during her BA/Leverhulme Senior Research Fellowship. Applications are invited from candidates with a specialist interest in any area of circa nineteenth-century French or Francophone literature and / or culture. You will be expected to hold a PhD, possess native or near-native language skills in French and English, and be able to teach more broadly at sub-honours level in the 19th-21st-century period.
