Associate Lecturer (Education Focused) in Academic English and TESOL – AO4716NB

The International Education Institute (IE) at University of St Andrews is recruiting for a permanent Associate Lecturer in Academic English and TESOL (Education Focused). Please note that this job will require the post-holder to work on-site in St Andrews once national restrictions allow this – it will not be possible to work remotely in this role.   

This post provides the opportunity to contribute across IE’s broad range of teaching activities. These include on-campus and distance-learning postgraduate TESOL programmes, International Foundation programmes, in-sessional Academic English Service provision, Academic English Pre-sessional Courses, and a variety of other summer short courses. There will also be opportunities to take on leadership roles in one or more of these areas. We are seeking practitioners who enjoy taking on new challenges, and who have a strong commitment to both their own and colleagues’ professional development. The successful applicant will join IE at an exciting time of change, as we continue to grow our postgraduate TESOL provision.   

The intended start date for these positions is 1 July 2021, or as soon as possible thereafter.
