Electron Microscope Operator – AR2044NB

Applications are sought for a committed Post-doctoral Research Fellow to work with Professor John Irvine, conducting research for a number of funded projects.  The primary duties will be to run the Electron Microscopy facility, including overseeing its day-to-day operations, operating equipment, assisting and training users, performing service work and supporting the delivery of research activities.  

 

The successful applicant will have (or be near to completion of) a PhD in Chemistry with expertise in Electron Microscopy.   

 

The post is offered on a fixed-term basis, until 30 April 2025 (in the first instance) starting 1 August 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter.
