Applications are sought for a committed Research Fellow to work with Dr Evelyn Watson and Dr Ruth Cruickshank conducting research for a SMERC funded project entitled “How can Occupational Health resources be optimally used in the management of medical students?”
The primary duties will be to undertake a systematic review exploring existing literature relating to occupational health provision and evaluation for undergraduate medical students. Conduct semi-structured interviews with key staff involved in the referral of undergraduate medical students to occupational health and assist in gathering rich data. Collect quantitative data and interrogate any pre-existing data to establish referral numbers and patterns of health provisions across Scottish Medical Schools.
This is a part-time position (7.25 hours per week) on a fixed term contract for 6 months, with an immediate start.
