The School of Physics and Astronomy excels in both research and teaching and is internationally renowned.    

 

We are seeking a well-organised and self-motivated Teaching Administrator to join our Professional Services team. The role holder will provide high-quality support to our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes within the School.    

 

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a busy administrative role, be a strong and supportive team member and equally able to work independently. You will have a good general education and a sound working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Email, using the internet, and have the confidence and ability to learn new IT systems and databases. The ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload whilst dealing with enquiries is essential.

 

Previous experience of working in a higher education setting would be advantageous but is not essential.     The successful candidate will be committed to the provision of high-quality service, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have a pro-active and professional approach to work.    

 

The post holder will be required to work Monday-Friday in the office.
