Senior Research Laboratory Manager - AR2189SB

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral level trained Senior Research Laboratory Manager. The post is based within the Optical Manipulation Group in the School of Physics and Astronomy (see https://opticalmanipulationgroup.wp.st-andrews.ac.uk) and is available for 5 years. 

The group aims to build upon a range of internationally recognised work in the area of biophotonics and its applications at St Andrews. The specific topic area is in the scientific coordination of a range of activities and events related to Biophotonics as well as support to one or more research strands in the group.  

The post-holder will be required to undertake duties to support research level activities, liaison with both local and international researchers as well as preparation of research papers, international grants, reports and supporting material for research papers, conferences and events associated with strategic grants. The post holder would be expected to undertake their own research too on experimental work and/or numerical studies supporting studies relating to the research activities in the group.
